Description

The Turkey Tail, scientifically called Trametes versicolor, is a colorful mushroom reminiscent of a turkey tail. In the Netherlands, it is known as Elfenbankje because of its colorful layers. For centuries, Turkey Tail has been traditionally used in Asia for medicinal purposes, particularly in China and Japan. Modern science in Asia now confirms some of its benefits, particularly through constituents such as flavonoids and, more importantly, polysaccharide-k (PSK) and polysaccharide peptides (PSP). With the Turkey Tail Liquid Culture Syringe , you can easily grow this mushroom at home thanks to the ready-to-use mycelium, which guarantees better growth than with traditional spore solutions.
